Beginnings

In 1992, MAPCO, Inc. began in San Antonio, Texas with vast potential. The company was named after its founder, Michael Angelo Padron, who began as an electrician with tremendous aspirations and drive. At its inception, the vision and direction for MAPCO, Inc. was instilled: to deliver quality results, unmatched expertise, unique capabilities, and satisfaction to each and every customer. That ambition and motivation heightened the company into exciting territory. By 1998, MAPCO, Inc. was a certified 8(a) company.

Now over 18 years later, MAPCO, Inc. has grown based on the strength of its staff and visionary leader. It has a vast weather of expertise, has distinguished itself in the construction industry and has graduated to a privately held SBA certified HUBZone contracting entity. MAPCO, Inc. operates as a diversified construction organization, offering customer services in general contracting, construction management, program management, design-build, as well as quality control and safety. Hundreds of projects have been completed for federal, state, and local clients. Winner of several prestigious contracting awards, the company has sought to become a construction leader – both in the level of service and quality of work.
