Safety Policy

MAPCO, Inc. has been engaged in construction activities for 18 years, since 1991. Mike A. Padron, President of MAPCO, Inc. has developed and maintained a strong safety work ethic which permeates throughout the whole company structure.

Great pride has been taken in a continuing concern for the safety and health of all our employees. NO single feature of our work is of greater importance. Safety must be a daily concern of each person, along with productivity, quality, cost control and morale. Circumstances will sometimes require a decision on which of these factors has priority. When such decisions must be made, SAFETY IS FIRST.

Our commitment is to make our offices, projects and operations as safe as humanly possible. Construction projects by their nature, present an environment where people have a greater chance for injury. The point is that accidents can be prevented and that people who consistently practice SAFETY AWARENESS will be less likely to be injured or cause injury to their fellow workers. It is mandatory that every person employed by MAPCO, Inc. be continually aware of this commitment to safety. Taking Care of Business means taking care of all aspects of our business and a Safe Work Environment is the foundation that we build our business upon.

Our company operations are to be carried out in compliance with Safety and Health regulations promulgated by Federal, State and Local Governments. We are morally bound to instruct our fellow workers to recognize and correct unsafe conditions.

The results of our safety efforts will affect our overall success in the construction industry. Our goal is an accident free workplace with the traditional outstanding MAPCO, Inc quality and timeliness.
